RUTH T. MCLENDON

Ruth T. McLendon 64, died Saturday afternoon, May 27, 2006 at Hospice Savannah. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. She was a native of Savannah and has lived several places in and out of the state before moving to Jesup.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burnice H. Hester and Veronica S. Hester, her brother, Robert Eugene Hester and her infant sister, Edith Hester.
Surviving are, her adoring husband of 31 years, Julian McLendon, her loving son, Daniel McLendon, her grandson, Daniel Fields and wife Shelley, four granddaughters, Marla, Theresa, Jesse and Rebecca and two great grandchildren Mary and John Eldridge ages 7 and 4 and many friends whose hearts she touched so warmly.
The family request that remembrances be made to Hospice Savannah on Eisenhower Drive who cared for her in her final hours with such loving care and dignity.
Words cannot express how deeply she is loved or how sorely she will be missed by those who were privileged to have known her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Islands Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 9 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Islands Chapel.
